Polar Focus Festooning Links are used to self deploy or retract cable as needed for suspended loads moving up or down. They are always used with motor up applications.
The link systems are threaded over the chain on an appropriately sized chain hoist. Using 6 feet between deployed links provides a loop hanging down 3′ when retracted. A typical usage for a 65′ hoist chain is one bottom link #FL-281-B36 and ten middle links #FL-281-M.
The middle link used in multiples is the main component in the system. Includes a 1/4″ shackle.
