Polar Focus Zbeam Lariat™ – Designed for portable use, the ZB-Lariat family of products provide fast and easy aiming of line arrays. When combined with a Spine Frame Adapter™, a typical* line array supported by one chain hoist can be quickly and accurately aimed in pan and tilt.
When combined with a Spine Frame Adapter, tilt is easily adjustable by fractions of a degree without re-rigging the line array. Pan angle of the top half of the Zbeam Lariat 1100 is controlled by tying off the included rope to a safe anchor point such as a catwalk railing, or other architectural feature. Pan angle of the line array is then adjusted using the vertical axle and friction bearing assembly joining the upper and lower halves.
If there are no architectural features available suitable for tie off, one Zbeam Lariat™ 1100 from one side of the stage may be tied off to the Zbeam Lariat 1100 on the other side of the stage, as long as there are no obstructions between the line arrays, and the two line arrays ascend and descend together.
Alternate lower assemblies other than the SFA-16-1100 Spine Frame Adapter may also be quickly attached to the Zbeam Lariat 1100.
